I love Hersey House of Hope. They have helped so many people. They are such a blessing to the Community with their sales at the auctions they have on Saturdays. I have been able to get clothes and other needed items for a donation I determine based on my own finances. They have the same sweet reaction to being able to help me and my family whether it is a big or small donation.
God Bless everyone involved in the Hersey House of Hope!

What We Do

Hersey’s House of Hope provides a range of essential services tailored to the unique needs of women. At the core of its mission is the provision of emergency shelter. For women who find themselves without a safe and stable place to live, the organization offers a warm and welcoming space where they can rest, recharge, and begin the journey toward rebuilding their lives.

Beyond emergency shelter, Hersey’s House of Hope also offers transitional housing. This program provides women with a longer-term living arrangement as they work towards securing permanent housing. During their stay in transitional housing, women have access to a variety of supportive services, including job training and placement, counseling, and support groups.

Recognizing that food and clothing are basic necessities, Hersey’s House of Hope provides these items to women in need. The organization’s food pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and other essentials. Additionally, women can access a clothing closet where they can select clothing and personal care items that suit their needs.

To empower women and help them achieve self-sufficiency, Hersey’s House of Hope offers job training and placement services. The organization partners with local businesses and organizations to provide women with opportunities to gain valuable skills and experience.
